The Mighty Heros 5K is a running event in McDonough, Georgia, held through the Lake Dow and Lake Dow Estates communities to support Mighty Hero Homes, an organization focused on ending veteran homelessness. All proceeds benefit this cause, with Henry County planned as the site for the first Mighty Hero Community. The event is dog and stroller friendly with separate waves for participants. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and the top three runners in each age group. USATF course certification is pending.
