The Race to Feed Our Veterans is an annual event organized by Meals on Wheels Spokane and Fairmount Memorial Association. The course passes through the scenic grounds of Fairmount's Riverside Memorial and Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Proceeds support Meals on Wheels Spokane, helping ensure that senior veterans receive meals. The event welcomes participants of all ages, fitness levels, and dogs, and provides a safe, traffic-free route. Complimentary beer and chili are offered at the finish.
