The Gobbler Gauntlet 5K is an endurance event for participants aged 7 and older, held at the Sanctuary Golf Course. The mostly flat course includes some rolling hills and features a water station and electronically timed finish line. All finishers receive a complimentary drink in the clubhouse. Medals are awarded to top male and female finishers in each age category, including winners from New Lenox. Net proceeds support the NLCPD Scholarship Program. Participants who register early are guaranteed a race shirt. Walk-up registration is available on race day.
