This event features a flat, paved course suitable for runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes, with races accommodating around 100 participants. Awards, including cranberry bread and other prizes, are given to the top three finishers in each age group for men, women, and race walkers. Refreshments are provided after the race. The event is part of a series held at East Potomac Park in Washington DC and Bluemont Park in Arlington VA. Participants can enter the entire series by signing up for all five races.
