The Friends of Westmoreland State Park host a 5K walk/run event on park trails and roads. Participants can choose to walk or run, with opportunities to earn trophies. The park remains open during the event, so caution is advised when crossing roadways. T-shirts are provided to the first 75 participants, with additional shirts available for purchase while supplies last. Race maps are available at the Visitor Center, and the course is marked at key turns. Entry fees support improvements to natural resources and educational programming at Westmoreland State Park.
