The Tactical event is an endurance race open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Based at South Beach Park in Vero Beach, Florida, it benefits the Vero Beach Police Department Foundation. Proceeds are used to purchase equipment for members of the Vero Beach Police Department and Critical Response Team. The first 100 paid registered athletes receive a Dri-Fit Race Shirt. Awards are given for overall male and female winners and top finishers in various age categories. A raffle is also held.
