The event features a flat, fast course with amenities such as showers and T-shirts guaranteed for pre-registered participants. Walkers are welcome. All activities start and finish at the Southwest Texas College Uvalde Campus, sponsored by the college and hosted by the Faculty Association. Award categories include overall and age group medals for various runs and walks, with participant medals and fitness activities for children. Age group awards are determined by chip time, and overall winners by gun time. Entry fees vary by event, and no refunds are offered.
