The Community First Credit Union Santa Scamper is a run/walk event preceding the Downtown Appleton Christmas parade. Starting at College Ave & State Street and finishing at Jones Park, participants receive a beanie, a Dairy Queen treat, and a coupon for JDs Drive-In. The event supports the St. Joseph Food Program and is part of the 4imprint Race Series. Although not chip-timed, a finish line clock is provided. A virtual option offers similar participant benefits, with packets available for shipping or pick-up at Run Away Shoes.
