The Village Green hosts an annual Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk, Gobble On the Green, where participants can engage in a festive and active holiday. The event includes pre-race check-in, with bib and t-shirt pickup available. While pets are not allowed due to participant numbers, spectators may bring leashed dogs. Awards include pies and medals for top finishers, along with age group recognitions. Random door prizes are also offered. Proceeds support The Village Green, a nonprofit park open year-round. Timing results are posted online post-race. The event proceeds rain or shine.
