Lapeer's Turkey Trot is an informal 5K and 5-mile run through scenic neighborhoods and landmarks, including Mott Community College and Lapeer Lightning Stadium. Participants must record their own time, as the event is not chip-timed, and roads remain open to traffic, requiring vigilance. All finishers receive medals, with snacks and beverages available at the finish line. Additionally, there are random prize drawings for participants.
