The Medford Lakes Colony David Nimmer Turkey Trot is an annual endurance event featuring a USATF certified course through Medford Lakes. The race is professionally chip timed with internet results and includes mile markers. Awards are given to top male and female finishers, as well as age group winners. All net proceeds support a charitable trust for ADA-compliant access improvements in the community. Festive T-shirts are provided to pre-registered participants, and non-perishable food donations are collected for the Medford Lakes Lions Food Bank. The event is dedicated to David Nimmer.
