The event, organized by the North Reading Hornet Hall of Fame Committee, features a run and walk starting and finishing in Ipswich River Park. Proceeds support scholarships for graduating seniors involved in running programs and benefit the North Reading Middle/High School sports program. The event includes an elementary school participation challenge, age group categories, and prizes for top finishers and families. Pre-race bib pickup is available at local venues, and a food drive supports the North Reading Food Pantry. Strollers are allowed, but dogs and bikes are not permitted due to safety concerns and high youth participation.
