The Wheeling Turkey Trot is a community event held at the Alma Grace McDonough Center on the Wheeling University campus, featuring a run/walk and a children's fun run. The event supports the Wheeling Parks and Recreation mission to promote healthy communities. Participants can enjoy a post-race celebration with snacks, refreshments, and an awards ceremony. Prizes are awarded through a random drawing. Virtual participation is available, allowing registrants to receive an event T-shirt. Packet pick-up is offered both before and on the day of the event at designated locations.
