The Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot is an annual run/walk event held on Thanksgiving morning, featuring a 5K run and a 1.5-mile dog walk through the streets of Pine Knoll Shores. The event supports the Hope for the Warriors Angel Tree Project. Participants can register online or in person and may also purchase a commemorative T-shirt. The event includes prizes, refreshments, and a random drawing for additional prizes. Sponsored by the Town of Pine Knoll Shores Parks and Recreation Committee, the Turkey Trot happens rain or shine with a registration cap for safety.
