The Hertz Trout Valley Turkey Trot is an annual event organized by the TTCCA to support Cary-Grove High School's cross country and track & field athletes and the Cary-Grove Food Pantry. The race takes participants through scenic Trout Valley, with awards for top male and female finishers in various age groups. Participants are encouraged to bring food donations, and a post-race beverage is offered for those of age. Advance registration is preferred, with limited on-site registration available. The TTCCA, a non-profit organization, aims to promote youth running and healthy lifestyles.
