The TreesUpstate Turkey Day Run is an annual endurance event held on Thanksgiving Day, featuring a run and a fun run/walk. Participants can enter a costume contest and compete for overall and age group awards. Race registration includes a long-sleeve shirt. The event supports TreesUpstate, a nonprofit organization. Packet pick-up is offered at various locations, and a limited number of free trees are available. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. Free parking is available in city garages.
