The Wakefield Turkey Trot is an annual community event organized by the Wakefield Track and Field Boosters to support local high school cross country and track and field programs. The event features an officially timed race and a shorter untimed fun run for children age 10 and under. Participants are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles, with water available on site. Awards are given to top overall finishers and age group winners. T-shirts are provided to registered athletes, and bib pickup is available at a designated community location prior to the event.
