The Thanksgiving Day Trot Against Poverty, returning for its 18th year at Riverside Park, is the largest 5K on the Treasure Coast, welcoming participants to run, jog, or walk. This event supports United Against Poverty, a nonprofit organization dedicated to economic self-sufficiency for individuals and families. The event features a 25ft inflatable turkey and draws around 2,000 participants. Awards are given in various categories, including overall male and female, masters, stroller participants, and top finishers in multiple age groups. Participants can pick up race packets in advance, and early registrants receive race shirts.
