The Westfield Turkey Trot is a long-standing holiday tradition, inviting runners and community members to participate the Saturday after Thanksgiving annually since 1984. The event includes a 5 Mile Run and a competitive mile run for ages 15 and up, both offering awards and USATF-NJ Grand Prix points. A community fun run is also available for younger participants. Amenities at the event include free photo downloads, specialty apparel, refreshments, entertainment, and a carnival wheel for prizes. Bag check and comprehensive scoring, timing, and awards add to the experience for all involved.
