The Bengaluru Midnight Marathon (BMM) is one of India's few midnight marathons and one of the country's most distinct distance running events. Organized by Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor, this annual December race offers a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and corporate relay, all starting after dark. Runners take to the streets in the chill of the winter night, energized by live music, drummers, and spectators who line the course deep into the early hours. What began in 2007 as a fundraiser has grown into a global event attracting participants from all over the world. The BMM channels its proceeds into impactful community initiatives—from healthcare and education to environmental sustainability.
