The Elkhart Education Foundation hosts the annual Ugly Sweater Run/Walk, offering a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile stroll. Participants are invited to wear their tackiest sweaters, with an Ugliest Sweater Contest held before the race. Awards are given to top finishers in various categories, and all participants receive finisher awards. The event includes a photo booth and post-race hot chocolate and holiday treats. It also welcomes volunteers to assist with the event.
