Mike Miller River Run in Marine City celebrates the opening of "Merry Time" days and commemorates Mike Miller, who was a supporter of Marine City, and one of the founders of this event. Participants are encouraged to wear holiday costumes, adding an extra fun to the event. Proceeds benefit the Marine City Rotary, the Mike Miller Scholarship Fund, and a local charity. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers, and all participants receive a goody bag, with food and beverages available at Gord’s Bar.
