The Tinsel Trot features a timed run and a fun run for children, held in Silsbee, Texas. The children's fun run is free for ages 1-8. Registration for the main run includes a t-shirt, with sizes available for youth and adults. Awards are given to top finishers overall and within age groups for both runs, and a holiday costume contest is held before the race. The event benefits Friends of the Silsbee Public Library and is followed by a local festival. Late registration and packet pickup are available on race day.
