The Christmas Rush is an annual event featuring run and walk races along the Green River, with both courses finishing at the same location. The event offers free entry for participants age 13 and under, courtesy of a sponsor. Awards are given to the top five finishers in each age group. Participants can purchase shirts from previous races at a discounted price and pick up race packets prior to the event or on race day. Parking is available at Hogan Park in Kent.
