The Havelock Animals Association organizes this endurance event to raise funds for Havelock Animal Control. Proceeds support initiatives such as advanced training, equipment and facility upgrades, and animal care programs, aiming to improve the welfare of rescued animals in the Havelock community. The race occurs on the city’s parade route, with spectators present as part of the holiday festivities. Awards are given to top overall and age group finishers. All participants receive a swag bag, with early registrants guaranteed their bag, while day-of participants receive one based on availability.
