A community running event is held at Kanaha Beach Park in Kahului, featuring a run for children aged 8 and under as well as a run open to all participants. The event is not timed, and there are no awards given. Donations of non-perishable food items are collected to support the Maui Food Bank. Members of the organizing group can participate for free, while non-members pay a registration fee.
