The Siberian Express is a challenging trail run held at Kickapoo State Recreation Area in Oakwood, IL. The scenic course is 95% trail, featuring steep hills and creek crossings. Known for its unpredictable winter weather conditions, participants should be prepared for various elements and self-sufficient, as no aid stations are provided. Finisher awards are presented to the first 150 participants. A post-race gathering follows the event. This run also serves as a qualifying event in a multi-race series.
