The Dallas Running Club (DRC) is a grassroots organization established in 1969 to support the local running community. It hosts several races and half-marathons annually, with proceeds funding the Tal Morrison Scholarship for students engaged in cross-country running. DRC is entirely volunteer-driven, emphasizing community involvement. The Frigid 5K & 10K are among its events focused on promoting health and fitness. Participants are encouraged to register for their selected distance in advance. Strollers are allowed with safety guidelines, and the course does not permit pets due to insurance restrictions.
