The Hottest Winter Run, known as the Chili Run, is an endurance event held at Carolina Blue Smokehouse & Taproom. Participants receive chili (with a vegetarian option), a custom race shirt, and a beer. The event features individual and team categories, chip timing, instant results, and awards for top finishers in overall and age group divisions. Team awards require at least one female among the top four finishers. The HEADstrong Foundation is the charity partner. An after-party with a DJ and food and drink options follows the race, creating a lively post-race atmosphere.
