The Mug Run series, initiated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, promotes health, fitness, and camaraderie among law enforcement personnel and now includes the general public. Originally featuring a small group of law enforcement runners, participation has since expanded to over 300 entrants. The event fosters positive interaction between law enforcement and the community through friendly competition. Participants receive a T-shirt on race day.
