The Southeast Georgia Health System Foundation Bridge Run is a notable endurance event held on the Sidney Lanier Bridge, the tallest bridge span in Georgia. The race includes a challenging 5K course that requires participants to cross over the bridge and back, and also offers the 10K Double-Pump Run which will have runners racing the same course twice. Additionally, there is a fun walk and a family-friendly festival with vendors, entertainment, and activities for children. Proceeds from the event support cancer and cardiac care programs within the Health System.
