The Packo's Panther 5k run/walk is an event starting at Whitmer Drive, passing through WLS neighborhoods, and finishing at Whitmer Memorial Stadium. Registration includes a race shirt, a gift certificate, and a post-race hotdog, and refreshments. Top finishers in each age group earn a commemorative mug, and the overall winners sign a bun for display. Proceeds benefit Washington Local Cross Country and fund scholarships for senior runners from Whitmer High School.
