About the race

The TTP Cambridge Half Marathon is a March event which in resent years have been a sell-out. The 13.1-mile (21.1 km) UKA-certified course is flat, fast, and designed for performance—offering under 320 ft (97.5 m) of elevation gain. Runners start and finish on Victoria Avenue, adjacent to the vibrant event village on Midsummer Common, and travel through both central Cambridge and the surrounding countryside. The route passes iconic landmarks including King’s College, Trinity College, St John’s College, the Fitzwilliam Museum, and the Cambridge University Botanic Garden, while also weaving through Grantchester and along the River Cam. The race features closed and partially closed roads, well-positioned water stations, musical hotspots, and designated Charity Cheer Points. On-course Run Angels provide support at key stages late in the race.

The event has seen over 95,000 finishers and raised more than £3 million for charity since inception. With a strong sustainability strategy in place through its partnership with Lucion, the Cambridge Half Marathon continues to evolve as a well-organised and environmentally conscious race.
