The Human Race is a fundraising event in Randolph County for non-profit organizations. Community agencies, religious groups, educational organizations, individuals, and businesses form teams or register to walk or run, raising money for their chosen non-profits. The event is organized by The Volunteer Center with support from volunteers who handle sponsorships, publicity, awards, and refreshments. Proceeds are shared between the participating organizations and The Volunteer Center.
