The American Legion Post 127 hosts the annual Leprechaun Run, aimed at becoming a St. Patrick's Day tradition and supporting local military veterans. Participants enjoy complimentary pancakes and beer post-race, with finisher medals for all and special recognition for top participants. Funds raised go towards runner amenities and supporting veterans and their families. The event includes a free kids' run and custom event shirts for participants. Though not chip-timed, the event awards the top three male and female finishers. The event takes place at American Legion Post 127 with available parking at Ivy Hawn Charter School.
