The Mission Hills 5K is a community event in San Diego’s historic Mission Hills neighborhood, bringing together families, friends, and neighbors to run or walk in support of educational programming at Grant TK-8. The event prohibits pets, roller skates, and other wheeled devices for safety, but allows jogging strollers and race wheelchairs. Participants can enjoy a Finish Line Fun Fair in Pioneer Park with family activities, community booths, and post-race celebrations. The Mission Hills 5K is recognized as a local favorite and supports the enrichment of students’ learning experiences.
