The Nut Run is an annual event that invites participants of all ages to run or walk through scenic pecan orchards, supporting a local non-profit group. Preregistered participants receive a T-shirt, and awards are given to the top finishers in various age and gender categories. The event offers USATF sanctioned chip timing for accurate results. Attendees can enjoy a pancake breakfast provided by the Green Valley Firefighters Association.
