The Don Osborne Memorial Run, organized by the Oakdale Lions Club, features a run and a run/walk to celebrate the legacy of Don Osborne. Participants follow a flat, paved course on city streets with traffic control, starting from Williams Meyers Park in Oakdale. Light snacks, fruit, juice, and water are provided for participants. Awards include gift certificates for overall male and female winners and medals for the top three finishers in each division. Separate male and female divisions and age groups are offered for each race.
