The Popsicle 5K is an inclusive, family-friendly endurance event organized by the Davie Community Foundation SURF Board to raise funds for youth-led grants benefiting children in Davie County, NC. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome, with additional activities such as a costume contest, raffle prizes, and the Brain Freeze Challenge involving popsicles. A Zero K option allows non-runners to participate and support the cause. Children not running are entertained by SURF students. All proceeds support youth projects through grants managed by local high school students.
