The Davis Stampede is an annual event held at Playfields Park in Davis, featuring routes for runners and walkers of varying abilities, including a family-friendly fun run/walk. The courses are mostly flat and traverse local greenbelts and neighborhood streets. Participants receive finisher medals, t-shirts, chip timing, and access to a post-race expo. Awards are given to top finishers in overall, age group, and special divisions. Virtual participation is available. The event accommodates adaptive entrants, strollers, and dogs in designated divisions. Proceeds benefit Cancer Champions.
