The race begins and ends in downtown Easley at The Pint Station and features overall, masters, and age group awards. It is the first event in the Pickens County 5k Race Series, which also includes the Azalea Festival 5k, Hot Pursuit 5k, and The Doodle Trail 5k and 15k. Cash awards are given to top finishers, with additional recognition for top point leaders participating in at least three series events. Proceeds support local Pickens County charities. Participants who register early are guaranteed a t-shirt and finisher award.
