The Otahki Lake KOA hosts the Shamrock Shuffle 5k/1 Mile. Participants are encouraged to wear St. Patrick's Day attire to follow courses that include moderate hills and gravel paths in a continuous loop through the park. Prizes are awarded for the best costumes and top finishers. Participants receive a t-shirt, medal, sticker, and refreshments. The event supports the Care Camp Foundation, which provides outdoor experiences for children with cancer and their families at paediatric oncology camps across the U.S.
