The Clemson 8 Challenge is an endurance event open to the public, inviting participants to walk, run, bike, hike, swim, or ski either in Clemson, SC, or on their own course. It can be completed in one day or over an eight-day period. Participation supports Clemson University Military Affiliated student organizations, aiding in funding students to partake in the Bataan Memorial Death March Marathon. The event was inspired by Colonel Beverly N. Skardon's dedication to honoring his comrades from the Bataan Death March. Participant packets include a t-shirt, bib, and other items, with potential prize opportunities for race day participants.
