Race the Helix-Upstate is an endurance event aimed at raising awareness and funds for genetic disorder research, organized by the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation. Participants can choose between a live 5K trail run or a 1-mile paved course suitable for all abilities, including strollers and wheelchairs. A virtual option is also available for those unable to attend in person. The event features various age-group award categories, with all proceeds supporting genetic testing and services. T-shirts can be purchased separately.
