The event supports local scholarships and includes a 5K race starting at Truman Waterfront. Participants can register and pick up race packets at specified locations and times. Medals are awarded to overall male and female winners, masters winners, and the top two male and female participants in each age group, including youth and walkers. A special award celebrates the most spirited participant, and T-shirts are provided to the first 100 registrants. Post-race festivities include beverages, snacks, and prize drawings.
