The inaugural Golden State 5K launched a new San Francisco tradition with a sold-out race at Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors. In partnership with Kaiser Permanente, the 5K (3.1 miles) course followed a flat, scenic route along the Bay, drawing runners and walkers of all levels. Former Warrior Festus Ezeli and KTVU’s Roberta Gonzales helped kick off the event, while the post-race celebration at Thrive City featured wellness activities, a DJ performance, giveaways, and game-day excitement. With strong community support and a high-energy finish, this race targets to become a signature Thrive City event.
