The YMCA’s Pier-2 Pier Race is an open water swimming event at Wrightsville Beach, NC, held in memory of Ryan Young. This swim takes place between Johnny Mercer and Crystal Piers. The event supports the YMCA's mission to nurture youth, promote healthy living, and foster social responsibility. Proceeds benefit the YMCA’s Safety Around Water program, which offers free water safety and swim courses to the community.
