Tornedalsloppet takes place in the scenic landscapes of the Torne Valley. One of northern Sweden’s most traditional ski races, it welcomes both competitive and recreational skiers with multiple distance options: 45 km from Svanstein, 23 km from Vanhaniemi, and 11 km from Kuivakangas. The event also features a relay race with five legs and changeovers at key checkpoints, adding extra excitement for teams. Along the way, skiers are supported by well-placed aid stations, while clothing transport and bus transfers ensure smooth logistics for participants. All results from the 45 km race are valid for Vasaloppet seeding, making Tornedalsloppet a valuable challenge for those preparing for Sweden’s most famous ski event.
